While those are my normal pajamas (plus socks & hoodie ofc) that is not how I normally roll out of bed… This was take 2. Take 1 involved me almost kicking my robe over the balcony in a less than graceful tumbling fashion. 🌴 If you’ve never been to Tulum, I’d describe it as a quaint tropical Vegas full of fabulously decorated resorts, amazing food & bars, & a bohemian fashion you can’t resist. This was my first time & I look forward to so many thing I didn’t get to this time around. I had heard Tulum was crazy expensive & just like Vegas, it certainly can be. But just like Vegas, you can decide where to put the money & where to not. I stayed 10 min off the strip in a brand new hotel that cost less than a manicure. However, I wanted to stay at this resort with the bed outside (I saw it on IG years ago) 🙌 Sooooo I just kept checking for last minute deals. Sure enough, a honeymoon suite was left unsold & dropped to half off. And that’s how I got that room! >>>Reality Check: You can NOT sleep outside on your balcony staring at the stars all night. You will never make it out alive with the bugs.
